Root your Android-powered mobile device – that is, in a nutshell, what you can do with this software application for Windows PCs. Mind you, using this application isn’t a “once click” type of scenario. No matter what the application’s name says, the simple truth of the matter is that you will have to click more than once. But the good thing is that a wizard-like interface will take you through all the steps you need to take to root your Android device: connect device, identify device, update driver, backup, root.

To get One Click Root up and running on your Windows PC, you must go through a standard installation procedure that takes little time and effort. I remind you that a standard installation procedure goes something like this: download an installer, run the installer, go through the instructions presented onscreen by a setup wizard.

Once you get One Click Root up and running, you can use the application to root pretty much any Android device. One Click Root provides support for devices powered by any Android version from Android 2.1 onward. Please note that you will have to enable USB Debugging Mode on your Android-powered device. One Click Root conveniently hooks you up with instructions on how to do so.

As mentioned above, One Click Root has a wizard-like interface that will take you through all the steps you need to take to root your Android device. You will have to go through a total of 5 steps. The following 5 steps: connect device, identify device, update driver, backup, root.

One Click Root is not free software. As you click through its wizard-like interface, you will get to a point where the interface tells you that “Your Android can be safely rooted.” Click "Root Now" and a prompt will show up and will ask you to enter your username and password. If you don’t have a username and password, it will invite you to register. You will be directed to a webpage that allows you to purchase a license for One Click Root.

One Click Root can prove to be a great tool to root your Android.
